Dr. SCOTT SHERWOOD
PRESIDENT - NAZARENE BIBLE COLLEGE
Dr. Scott Sherwood is the 6th President of Nazarene Bible College. He is married to Sherry (Fortado). They are parents to three adult daughters: Libby, Madeira, and Brooke.
Dr. Sherwood was ordained on the Northwestern Illinois District in 1994. He graduated from Olivet Nazarene University with a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Literature, a Master of Divinity from Nazarene Theological Seminary, an advance graduate certificate in Wesleyan Pastoral Theology from NTS, received the Doctor of Divinity Degree from ONU, and has a Doctor of Ministry Degree from Fuller Theological Seminary.
He has served as an itinerant evangelist, and as associate pastor in three churches (Rock Island, IL; Chicago First; and Pekin, IL). He was Senior Pastor in Bloomington, Illinois, and in Richardson, Texas. He has served as district superintendent of the Northwestern Illinois District.
